Essential storage
Essential cookies may be used for security, sign-in, and platform operation. Local browser settings store your separate choices for optional analytics and Reddit advertising.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 remains off by default and its script is not loaded until you choose “Accept all” or enable “Allow analytics” under “Edit choices” and save. If allowed, Google may set analytics cookies beginning with _ga to distinguish visits and measure site usage. Google advertising storage and personalization signals remain disabled.
Referral analytics
When you allow analytics, we use a random browser identifier (up to 90 days) and a 30-minute session cookie to measure Reddit referrals and actions such as searches, saved books, signups and Amazon clicks. Reports count browsers rather than identified people. These records contain no email, username or IP address and are removed after 90 days when measurement or reporting next runs. Withdrawing analytics consent removes these identifiers from your browser.
Reddit advertising
Reddit Pixel loads only after you choose “Accept all” or enable “Allow Reddit advertising” under “Edit choices” and save. It measures visits to catalog pages, new account registrations, and Amazon-link clicks to understand ad results and support Reddit advertising. Reddit may use identifiers such as _rdt_uuid and _rdt_cid, page URLs, referrers, and device/request information. Existing analytics consent does not enable Reddit advertising. We do not send email addresses or Google account identifiers as matching parameters. Amazon-link clicks are not recorded as purchases.
Affiliate links
This site does not perform cookie stuffing or automatic retailer redirects. Amazon may set its own cookie only after you deliberately follow an affiliate link.
Your choices
Choose “Accept all” to allow both optional categories, or “Edit choices” to select them separately. You may reject either or both optional categories and still use the site. Use “Privacy choices” to change them. Disabling analytics stops our analytics events and attempts to remove accessible Google Analytics cookies. Disabling Reddit advertising removes its first-party cookies and reloads the page to unload the pixel. This does not erase data already received by either provider. See Reddit’s privacy policy for its handling of advertising data.
